Anniqa Jamal Iqbal represented Pakistan in her third international pageant since September 2022. She recently participated in Freedom of the World 2023 and achieved three notable positions: Miss Press, Miss Photogenic, and Fourth Runner Up. This victory adds another accomplishment to Pakistan’s success in the world of pageantry.
Before competing in Freedom of the World, Anniqa Jamal Iqbal participated in Miss Earth 2022 held in the Philippines and Miss Eco International 2023 held in Egypt.
This marked the first instance where Pakistan had a representative in the Freedom of the World competition. Despite being a Muslim-majority country, Kosovo does not maintain a functional embassy in Pakistan. Therefore, to obtain a visa, the participant must travel to either the UAE or Turkey. Fortunately, this year the circumstances aligned, and Pakistan sent its first contestant to the Freedom of the World pageant.
