1. Congratulations on getting the title of Miss Pakistan Supreme 2022. With this title what do you think you would want to achieve? 

   

I am humbled and honored to be representing Pakistan as your Miss Pakistan Supreme 2022. I am fortunate that I had the privilege to access equal education growing up. Through this education I was able to learn that it is actually so scarce for so many children around the world to have simple access to things such as a book to read or a pencil to write with. There are so many kids especially young girls, in my home country Pakistan, too that have never had the chance to enter a school let alone broaden their creativity and minds through the tools these schools provide. I would like to be an advocate to provide safe, affordable, and equal education to all. 

2. Can you tell us a little bit about your background? 

I was born in Lahore, Pakistan. I moved to New York at the age of 2! Ever since from what I can remember I always wanted to help others in any way I could and I loved being on stage.

The first time I was on a stage was the age of 9 and I just knew making others smile and brightening their day was something that brought me immense happiness.

My interest in pageants helped me reach wider audiences and I hope to impact others positively as I go through this journey. 

3. As Miss Pakistan, there is a big responsibility of representing Pakistan in international competitions. How are you going to prepare for it?

It all starts with your mindset first and your actions second. I am here right now because I put my mind to something and followed that with actions to gear me in that direction. Of course, it isn’t always a simple road, but that is the beauty of it! The journey has prepared me for so much more than I expected in the beginning. I feel fearless! Once I’ve set my mind to a goal, now I’ve got to get to work physically to achieve it. This brings in my physical health. It is so important to eat a healthy diet and to exercise regularly to keep your body boosted with energy to do anything you want! I’ve personally experienced how much of a difference working out has made in my life. I’ve felt stronger, healthier, and more confident in achieving anything I want. Of course, I am representing Pakistan, so I also need to stay grounded to my roots and culture. I love speaking in my language and learning about my country so when I do go to these international competitions, I truly feel I am representing my country. 

4. In today’s world, the most pressing issue is about our planet? What do you do in regards to helping with the environment?

The earth is our home and we all share it together. Just like in a household or at least in my household where each person has specific responsibilities, we as people sharing this earth have responsibilities towards it as well. It may be something as simple as switching off lights that aren’t being used; All of our actions have a reaction. My family and I have always been recyclers before I even knew what the reason for it was. I’ve also been against littering for as long as I can remember and I encourage disposing in designated areas to whomever I’m around. I also volunteer at local churches, temples, mosques, for cleanups to reduce pollution which is one of the biggest negative impacts on our planet earth. 

5. Are you passionate about any charitable projects? Or are you involved in any charity?

Children are our future and children’s right to equal education and creative freedom is something I believe is essential for the growth of our communities and the entire world in fact. Plus, emotional and physical health is very important for anyone to succeed in their goals. I am very passionate about charitable projects that focus on mental and physical health for children and equal education. I am planning to go to Pakistan and help and volunteer as much as I can! As I feel Pakistan needs a lot of support especially in this time! 

6. What inspired you to participate in the Miss Pakistan pageant and who had been your biggest inspiration in this journey?

   

Being in the Miss Pakistan pageant would allow me to bring all aspects of my life together in one and use it as a whole with great force. I would get to represent who I am plus what I believe in all in one. It’s time Pakistanis made their mark and that is why I am here. My biggest inspiration are all the people who support me and all the people who have used their voices and actions to make a difference in this world. 

7. You have already been chosen for some international pageants, are you ready for the competition?

I am so thrilled and honored to have been chosen for international competitions. Especially representing my home country. I am so ready to travel through this journey and I know it doesn’t start or end there. It will be a stepping stone to help me achieve my goals and reach more people and hopefully make a difference. 

8. What advice do you have for other young girls like yourself to participate in these contests?

The advice I would give young girls who want to participate in these contests is to never doubt yourself. Doubting yourself is like taking steps back when you should ALWAYS be reaching forward. i have been there and I have doubted myself and have lost opportunities I wish I had never taken for granted. Self- doubt is destruction of the self. Be confident, be positive, be selfless, and shine BRIGHT!
