Dr. Shafaq Akhtar represented Pakistan for the first time in Miss Planet held in Cambodia. Following a week filled with enjoyable activities, Dr. Shafaq Akhtar adeptly represented Pakistan on the coronation night of the event and secured the Miss Humanity Award for Pakistan.
When asked about her feelings on earning a second title for Pakistan, Dr. Shafaq Akhtar expressed, “I feel extremely proud and happy. Many local Cambodians were cheering for me in the crowd, and I was pleasantly surprised to witness a significant presence of the well-established Pakistani business community among the audience. They approached me and personally expressed their gratitude for representing Pakistan. That’s when I truly felt a deep sense of happiness and accomplishment. This second title that I have brought home has given me a sense of purpose in life!”
Sonia Ahmed, the President of Miss Pakistan, remarked, “The drive that Dr. Shafaq Akhtar possesses is quite rare. Few girls choose to commit themselves to this industry, as it demands hard work, dedication, and passion. Without genuine passion for the pageant world, progress is limited. I am truly pleased that we have secured titles for Pakistan.”
