Miss Pakistan Organization Statement Regarding Contestant Eligibility and Conduct
The Miss Pakistan Organization wishes to formally clarify its position regarding former contestant Afshan Ahmad Sial and to address recent misinformation. The Miss Pakistan Organization maintains strict eligibility criteria for all contestants, including requirements related to moral character, transparency, and compliance with organizational rules and regulations.
Based on information that later came to our attention, Ms. Afshan Ahmad Sial was arrested on June 26, 2025, in connection with a petit larceny (theft) charge, during which she was taken into custody. There was a bail set for $415 dollars and after that she was release and her case if active. This information was not disclosed to the organization at any point, despite the requirement that contestants must have no criminal record and must fully disclose any legal issues.
In November 2025, following multiple rule violations and concerns regarding commitment and conduct, it was amicably decided that the organization would no longer continue working with Ms. Sial. Subsequently, in December 2025, Ms. Sial claimed she was unaware that her association with the organization had ended.
Following this, Ms. Afshan Ahmad Sial committed an additional breach of organizational policy by violating the third-party contact rule, which strictly prohibits contestants from independently contacting external pageant organizations. She reportedly contacted an international pageant organization and conveyed personal information, including that she has a seven-year-old child, and stated that the Miss Pakistan Organization was considering sending her as a representative. Sonia Ahmed, the President said, “We do send married contestants to various competitions as per their requirements & our negotiations, but there is difference between contemplating and actually sending Afshan Ahmad Sial. We were already not comfortable working with her because she keeps asking us to pay for things that our company never promised. She has assumed that pageantry is a modelling career.”
The Miss Pakistan Organization takes rule compliance, integrity, and transparency seriously and reserves the right to discontinue associations when policies are violated. We remain committed to upholding the credibility and values of our platform and to ensuring that all representatives meet the standards expected of the organization.
The Miss Pakistan Organization confirms that representation is extended only to contestants who demonstrate professionalism, transparency, and ongoing compliance with organizational policies. In this matter, multiple issues relating to commitment, disclosure, and adherence to contractual and conduct requirements resulted in the loss of competitive opportunities and the decision not to continue representation or renew the contestant’s contract.
